Stand-up comedy returns with headliner Matt Vita, feature act Bri Morrison, and host Charlie Nadler!

ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Matt Vita (headliner, CBS, TimeOut NY, The Vermont Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Club), aka The Gnar Father delivers the most explosive, gnarly, stand up comedy in the biz today making people laugh about everything from Aggressive Rollerblading to Warren Buffett and shredding everything in between! Also an award winning freestyle rapper (who has performed with such legends as Rahzel) Vita keeps audiences on their feet by interweaving improvised songs, freestyle raps, and off kilter impersonations in this hilarious, high energy performance. In 2023 Matt headlined clubs from Canada down to Florida, touring in a RAV4 with a broken radio which gave him a lot of time to ponder the absurdities of life and all the fun things he did that year- like open for Joe List and Colin Quinn and surf really big hurricane waves in New York!

Matt has appeared in CBS’s The Equalizer opposite Queen Latifa and currently has his first feature film doing a successful festival run which he stars in opposite America’s Next Top Model Winner Sophie Sumner.

Matt is also the co-founder of both the Vermont Comedy Festival and the Vermont Film Festival which provide opportunities for filmmakers and comedians from around the world to further their career and enjoy all the beauty which is Vermont (like shredding mega gnarly powder!)

Vita ends all his headlining performances by picking a lucky audience volunteer and creating them a fully improvised song out of thin air- sometimes folks even get to come on stage and dance along to the song, but you honestly never know what might happen at a Matt Vita show!

Bri Morrison (feature act) was born and raised in Berkshire County, and is now based in the Capital Region. She started comedy in 2018, and has participated in many shows through the Common Folk Artist Collective, including recently participating in their live telethon fundraiser. She also recently performed at Pittsfield’s highly successful inaugural Transformer Fest. Quick and observational, Bri uses a narrative style to bring the audience together to laugh over the absurdities of our shared human experiences.

Charlie Nadler (host) owes his existence to a TV show; his parents met while writing together on Laverne & Shirley. In 10+ years of performing standup while based in Los Angeles, New York City, and now the Berkshires, he has released two albums and told jokes around the world in clubs, colleges, festivals, bars, country clubs, teen centers, basements, attics, and one barber shop. He also develops screenplays and serves as co-founder of Laugh Dealers, a company that produces custom comedy shows and consulting for companies and individuals. Nadler relocated here in 2019 with his wife Cary. Together they raise two cats who do not care for comedy.
